ImageIR 8300

Universal Thermography Camera for Continuous Operation Applications

The ImageIR® series is based on a modular concept and allows for successive upgrading and changes of powerful components like motorized lenses or a high-speed shutter. Already in its basic configuration it can be delivered with different detectors which support your application the best way. Like this you will always remain flexible and optimally adapt your camera systems to your respective needs.

The most solid all-rounder of the cooled infrared camera systems

  • Detection of small details with detector of (640 × 512) IR pixels
  • High thermal resolution better than 20 mK for precision measurements
  • Snapshot detector for precise image acquisition at frame rates up to 125 kHz in full frame
  • Motorised focus unit enabling precise, remotely controlled and fast focusing

Description

With its ImageIR® 8300, InfraTec introduces another thermographic camera model belonging to the ImageIR® high-end camera series. The implementation of a (640 × 512) IR pixel MWIR detector allows 205Hz full-frame real-time imaging without compromising any thermal accuracy. The ImageIR® 8300 and its cooled focal-plane array photon detector reach an outstanding thermal resolution better than 0.02K. The new version was developed for most demanding operations in research and development and process monitoring fields. Its modular structure consisting of the optical, detector and interface section, makes the camera easily compatible to the related applications and for tailored configurations. An integrated trigger interface guarantees a repeatable high-precision triggering of quick procedures. Multiple configurable digital inputs and outputs serve as control ports for the camera or as generator of digital control signals for external devices.

The optical channel consists of the exchangeable infrared lens as well as application-specific apertures, filters and reference elements. All exchangeable ImageIR® 8300 standard lenses can be combined with a motorised focus unit easily operable from the camera‘s application software. It allows precise, fast and remotely controlled motorised focusing and is part of the autofocus function

Measure Precisely Over a Long Time

A high long-term stability of the thermographic measurement with infrared camera systems of the ImageIR® 8300 series is achieved by an excellent thermal decoupling of the electronics module which will emit heat during its operation from the optical and detector module being most important for the signal receipt.

Acquire Thermal Images in a Millisecond of Time

The exact and fast control of the detectors of the ImageIR® 8300 series provides the possibility to acquire and analyse thermal images at a time scale of milliseconds. Thereby it allows an easy analysis of fast processes regarding their thermal changes. Thermal images can be stored at a frame rate of up to 2.5 kHz and provide insights into thermal changes of fast running processes.
